When Crafting Leads to Hacking by Jenny Leary: A Performonstration

What happens when innocent design research leads to law-breaking discoveries? Playing with magnetic materials got dangerous when Jenny started investigating the magnetic stripe of credit cards. In this performance, she teaches a decoding technique to an audience of designers, handing over the moral dilemma to them. Through a narrative infused with science and humour alike, we see that when boudanries get blurred, creative confusion ensues. Thanks to the 2010 Anti Design Festival.
