Opposites Attract by Jenny Leary: Interactive Magnetic Garments

An evening of interactive exhibits open to the public occurs monthly at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London. Opposites Attract, designed by Jenny Leary, paired a magnetic vest and glove with latex garments that stick together. One person wore the vest and the other wore the gossamer web-like magnetic latex. The aim was to provide the public with a chance to interact with a new material, but another unexpected outcome was the positive public response to seeing Ferrofabric used in fashion.
